Loftwings of a Feather

A very special artwork I made especially for my husband as a gift this Christmas, since I haven't really had any extra to spend on gifts. We both very much love The Legend of Zelda: Skyword Sword and had a very fun conversation one day about what we and our corresponding Loftwings would look like if we were residents of Skyloft. Well, here we are!

My husband's Loftwing is blue (with yellow and orange stripes), and crazy head-feathers to mimic his hair. My Loftwing is a dark burgundy-like color, with turquoise and purple stripes. There are some easter eggs in the designs: the design around my husband's collar mimics a bomb-- because he's notoriously destructive. His sash also is based off the design of the Beetle item. Also, the gem on my cape is light blue and oval based directly off the color and shape of my beautiful aquamarine engagement ring.

I tried to mimic the official art design while keeping us recognizable. Enjoy!
