Hey everyone, I hope all is well with all of you! It's the start of October...

So, not a whole not new on this end. I finished my game assignment over the weekend and I'll start back on commission work tomorrow, so you'll likely see a post tomorrow. If not, almost certainly Tuesday. I'm hoping I'll also get a chance to do a personal artwork this month! I've got Alice: Madness Returns on the mind.
You'll have to pardon me for the "posting journals more often" bit. I know I don't have a lot of new things to say, but I think it's a weird way I cope with being rather lonely.

Things have been hard the past few days, but I'm hoping they'll only improve from here! We got word back from the Zelda contest we entered to win VIP tickets to the Zelda symphony. We didn't win and even the winner thought it was an injustice. I can't vouch for what the judges were thinking, and it really hurts and sucks, but I'm hoping this means in some weird way that maybe I'll have more luck in the other contest I've entered.

Ends October 31st officially, I'm so nervous!!
Other than that, the only official plans for this month are going to see the Zelda symphony on October 25th. It still hasn't sunk in yet. We're also going for an all-day trip to Nintendo to play Skyward Sword on the 14th. Same as the stuff I mentioned before.

In silly news I finally got to open my Alice: Madness Returns umbrella today. I got it back when the game released as a gift from EA but the postman damaged it so badly it couldn't be opened. So today I decided to sit and find a solution. It put a permanent mark on the switch release but it doesn't matter, I can finally open it and it's beautiful! It's really big and very gothic lolita, and also has a delightful carousel tent shape. It's a shame I don't do cosplay, it'd make an outstanding Alice prop.
So that's pretty much it on my end on the moment. How are all of you? Any fun plans for October?
well me and my friends are going to alton towers on the 15th for scarefest
my friend told me its quite scary. XD
i was fine till i watched a Pagen based film and he told me it is creepier than that XD
wicker man scared me but not as much as wake wood. for a low budget film it was Reaaaally creepy good
The contest was to send the biggest Zelda fan/collector of a certain Dutch community site to London for the symphony, all expenses paid. Despite the fact we had the larger collection and the better story, we didn't win. Over 60% of the people there thought we should have won, including the winner and the site collection manager. =\ But oh well, I don't want to talk about it.
yeah wickerman i really did not like.
But wake wood was terrifying XC
==i watched it last night, and everything was cringeworthy XC
i think i'll lay off pagen films just incase XD
