It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Journey's Eve

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 7, 2012, 7:05 PM

Mood: Eager

Well my dear friends and watchers, the time has finally come to go home..! I will be taking off tomorrow at 2:35pm on a straight-shot from SFO to Amsterdam. I hope the journey is safe, uneventful, and completely non-stressing. I also hope that having ALL the correct paperwork will result in a swift passport control experience that far surpasses the nightmare that was Belgium. If you could all pray and/or send good vibes that everything goes smoothly, and I will arrive home safely, I would be so grateful.

My husband had an interview with a company last week that looked very, very promising! We're hoping for a call-back this week. If all goes well, and he gets that job, that would be AMAZING for us, and the chances of a 1-year contract that would meet the requirements we need would be very high. Please join me in praying and hoping for the best!

My dearest friends and watchers, I hope next time I update you is from the comfort of my own home, which I hope I'll never have to leave under such sad and unexpected circumstances ever again. Here's to hoping this is the beginning of an amazing year. Hugs to you all!
